Sunday 15 September 2019 sees the return of “Panorama Day”, organized by FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano and Fondazione Zegna. The sites hosting this prestige event, now at its 6th edition, include the splendid setting of Casa Zegna, where there is also (till 10 October) an exhibition - Padre e Figlio (Father and Son) – featuring work by Michelangelo Pistoletto and his father Ettore P. Olivero.

In Trivero Valdilana, Oasi Zegna (under FAI patronage) will be hosting initiatives for adults and kids, all enhanced by the spectacular beauty of the views, while musical entertainment will be provided by young players from the Obiettivo Orchestra project of the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio di Torino and by the Orchestra’s 1st viola, Enrico Carraro. The high-point will be a concert at 3 pm in Ermenegildo Zegna’s “secret garden”, a splendid setting between the textiles entrepreneur’s former home and the eponymous Wool Mill. Here the wind ensemble of the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio di Torino will play music by Rossini, Gounod and Strauss.

The program for the Day, Paesaggio in musica al Lanificio Zegna (Landscape in music at the Zegna Wool Mill), features a morning walk - Dalla Conca alla Brughiera - accompanied by nature guides and suitable for all the family, starting out from Casa Zegna at 10.30 am and returning by 12.30 pm.
Meanwhile, from 11 am to 12 am, there’s a matinée in the Ermenegildo Zegna Garden entitled Narration and listening”, a concert-lesson given by young musicians from the Filarmonica del Regio di Torino with their teachers.
From 11 am to 12 am and from 12 am to 1 pm at Casa Zegna, kids will be able to take part in Accordo in famiglia (accord in the family), a workshop by vocologist and singer Riccardo Ruggeri combining games and music in simple choral exercises designed to achieve familial harmony by using the voice.
There’s another workshop - Andare al sodo - at 2.30 pm, showing kids how to build houses and chairs with paper. And from 11 am to 6 pm, at Casa Zegna, it will be possible to visit the temporary exhibition Padre e Figlio (Father and Son) and the permanent exhibition Cent’anni d’eccellenza (A hundred years of excellence).
