In Bielmonte, an evening of sky gazing for everyone, astronomy enthusiasts but also kids and their families. Enjoy the most keenly awaited night in the summer in Oasi Zegna, a protected mountain area in the province of Biella in Piemonte, the ideal spot for people loving peace and nature.
Far from any luminous pollution, you can entrust your deepest wishes to shooting stars. An enthralling evening with star gazing under the expert guidance of astrophysicist Fabio Peri, director of the Milan Planetarium, to learn to recognize the various constellations and (given the date) admire the “Perseids” or “Tears of Saint Lawrence”, better known as shooting stars.
In the event of bad weather, a lesson will be held indoors, preceded by dinner at Ristorante Bucaneve, in Bielmonte.
What to bring
Participants are advised to bring a small torch and a blanket. A waterproof jacket is also recommended, given the evening humidity.
