A charming, recently renovated chalet located right next to the Bielmonte ski slopes and run by Luciano Zainaghi, a young man from Biella who chose to follow the call of the mountains and his passions by dedicating himself to a project that he feels deeply connected to. After experiences and travels that took him far away, Luciano found the ideal place here to realise his dream: a cosy and intimate chalet in the heart of the Biella Alps. With him are his partner Stefania and their inseparable four-legged friend, ready to offer a genuine welcome to skiers and hikers.
Chalet Massaro offers a simple and carefully prepared menu: delicious sandwiches, platters of local products, hot dishes and homemade desserts. The recent renovation has transformed the chalet into a refuge with a warm and familiar atmosphere, enriched by an indoor dining room that seats about 20 people.
The structure is located in the picturesque Alpe Moncerchio basin. In winter, it can be reached by skiing down from Monte Marca along the Moncerchio slope, or by snowshoes, cross-country skis or crampons starting from Bocchetto Sessera. During other seasons or in the absence of snow, it can be easily reached on foot or by mountain bike.A few steps from the restaurant is the fascinating ‘Monterosa Byobu - Oasi Zegna’, the work of Atsushi Kitagawara.
