Bielmonte is the heart of Oasi Zegna and was "created" by Ermenegildo Zegna in the Fifties, when the Panoramica road reached its high point of 1,500 meters asl.

The landscape made it ideal for the development of the first tourist facilities and ski-lifts and Bielmonte soon became a favorite, especially with families, thanks to its sunny position and the splendid view across the plains of the Po Valley.

In winter the ski area offers 10 km of downhill slopes, 20 km of cross country trails and an intricate network of snowshoe trails. For the rest of the year there are lots of well marked trekking and Nordic walking routes.

Numerous mountain bike itineraries, going as far as Monte Rosa and the Ivrea moraine amphitheater, have been created recently. And for lovers of horse riding there’s a stable at Piazzale 2 that organizes rides and courses in the summer.

For kids, there’s the Rolba Run and the Palazzetto dello Sport, which has basketball and volleyball courts.
