In Trivero, gateway to Oasi Zegna
A pleasant town at around 800 meters above sea level, Trivero can boast a marvelous landscape characterized by forests of Norway spruce, chestnut, beech and ash. Its numerous villages are clustered around the industrial complex of the wool mill, where the most precious raw materials, such as merino wool, kid mohair, cashmere and vicuña, are still processed.
The art of working wool, already widespread in medieval times, was established in the Biella area thanks to the abundance and quality of its water, the softest in Europe and essential to the processing of natural fibers. This is the secret behind the excellence of the textiles the Mill makes for men’s fashion.
And on the terraces atop the Mill is Daniel Buren’s public art work for the “All’Aperto” contemporary art project. (link)
