Oasi Zegna is getting ready to open the ski season, even though a first dusting of snow has already whitened the peaks of the Biella Alps for a few days.Nearly all the winter activities are centered on Bielmonte, the heart of Oasi Zegna, at a height of 1,482 meters. Its exposure to sunshine all day long, easy access from Milan and Turin, ski-lifts and parking at the foot of the slopes all guarantee maximum comfort for anyone wishing to relax by immersing themselves in generating nature.Designed for those who’ve never tried winter sports but also suitable for experts, the Bielmonte ski resort has 18 km of downhill slopes, two ski schools (Scuola Sci Bielmonte and Scuola di Sci Monte Marca) with over 50 ski instructors for both adults and kids. Activities will start up on Thursday 7 December with the official opening of the lifts. Not only skiing but also snowshoe walking: daytime with OverAlp and by moonlight in the company of Evolution Project.
From Bocchetto Sessera there is a road that becomes a cross-country ski trail of around 20 km.

And there will be no lack of competitive events, international team training sessions, historical re-enactments on skis, musical cocktails under the stars, and Christmas events for families with small children at Winter Bielmonte Kids.

The BIG NOVELTY this year is a free Bielmonte shuttle bus provided by Consorzio Turistico Alpi Biellesi
, a local tourism organization. It leaves from Biella railway station at 08:45 every Saturday and Sunday in December. Seats must be booked. Further details will be posted shortly.

To start programing your weekends in the meantime, you can download the ski slope rates at the end of this article, along with all the new promotions for university students and over-65s, the Ski Map with full details of the downhill slopes, cross-country trails, snowshoe trails and accommodation. And for your winter holidays, we recommend consulting the Hospitality section to choose the accommodation best suited to your needs.Enjoy Oasi Zegna’s nature and views along with the incredible offering of events and initiatives.
